Car vs. Motorcycle Blast Sends 3 to Hospital

Kennewick police say -- fortunately -- no life-threatening injuries occurred, but 3 people were taken to area hospitals.

Last night near Highway 397 and E. Columbia Drive the motorcycle pictured collided with a vehicle sending parts scattered across the pavement and snarling traffic.

Police did not specify what led to the accident, but emphasized the importance of staying alert while driving whether it's a motorcycle or another vehicle. Keep your eyes open and head on a swivel.

No word if any charges are pending for either operator.
