Car Wash Assault-Robbery Suspect Sought by Cops
The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day, but police are now turning to the public in hopes of find out more information.
Pasco Police say a 35-year-old female victim pulled her car into the Bear Wash facility at 20th and Shoshone around 6PM. She reported the man washing his car in the next stall suddenly confronted her, pushed her up against her car then hit her in the face with either a tire iron or crowbar.
He stole her Adidas jacket and large red purse from her car, then he fled north on foot. She then reported seeing the same blue car heading south on 20th towards Lewis Street. The man is described as white male in this 30's about 5'11", wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants. The victim could only describe his car as being blue. He'd apparently quickly doubled back and driven away from the scene.
The woman was hit twice in the head-face area, suffering a laceration on her forehead that took stitches, and a bruise on her left cheek.
