Christmas Beating Suspect Arrested After Threatening Baby
Benton County Deputies and other law enforcement officers are searching for this man, accused of beating the mother of his baby on Christmas night.
Deputies were called to E. 14th Place in Finley around 8PM after a neighbor called 911 to report the woman next door had been beaten, and her 3-month old son taken. The woman had fled to the neighbors after she said her boyfriend, 28-year-old Nicholas Saenz beat her in the face. He then took their 3-month old son, and threatened to kill him.
Deputies, SWAT, and Kennewick Police all responded. The baby was found unharmed inside the home but Saenz had fled just before officers arrived. He is now the subject of a manhunt. The woman suffered injuries to her face, but is now safely staying with family members.
Anyone who sees him is urged to call 911 or (509)-628-0333. This picture, say officials, is of Saenz from 2016, the most recent image available.
UPDATE---sources say Saenz has been apprehended, Benton County Deputies made an arrest Thursday morning.
