I was always baffled by the idea that if the state of Washington approved me for a concealed carry permit, it just wasn't good enough for Oregon. My Washington ccp is no good there. Instead I have to get an Oregon ccp also. And all because of some different wording or a variation on requirements. Well that almost came to an end with the passing of Concealed Carry Reciprocity. In other words, your ccp for Washington could be accepted in all states, and Washington will accept theirs. This makes protecting your family and yourself much easier when traveling. Unfortunately it did not pass. So Idaho will honor your ccp but Oregon will not.
