Connell Teen Busted — Shoots at Patrol Car, Hits Home and Car Instead
An 18-year-old Connell 'man' is in the Franklin County jail after a Friday night shooting incident, now police this week believe he was aiming at a patrol car and officer.
Connell police apprehended Michael Godinez after witnesses said he was the person responsible for gunfire heard around 11:15 pm near Ford Ave. and Clark Street.
Multiple shots were heard fired, according to witnesses, During the investigation, police found several shots hit a car and a nearby home, but evidence also strongly suggested Godinez had been aiming at another police car that was in the area.
He's facing several felony charges, including being wanted for 2nd Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Burglary. Fortunately, no one was hit or injured in the incident.
