Convenience Store Robbery Gets Away With Actual Register in Heist
Convenience store robberies are, sadly, not unusual.
But was is different, very different, is when they make off with the entire cash register.
Early Monday morning, Oct. 11, around 2:38 AM, Kennewick Police were called to the Chevron store at the intersection of Kennewick Ave. and Vista Way for a report of a robbery. This is the location where it occurred.
The clerk reported the suspect entered the store, and during the course of the heist, was able to steal and get away with the entire cash register.
Aside from the cash, they won't be able to do much with the rest of the unit, but it shows just how brazen that suspect was.
Police have not yet released any other details, except the clerk was not harmed. It is not known if any surveillance video is available. The case is being investigated.
Speaking of strange situations, check these out.
