Cops Able to Stop Passed Out Motorist Driving in Circles

Kennewick police responded to one of the most bizarre driving incidents ever on Thursday afternoon.

Officers got a call about a car in the 500 block of North Edison that kept driving in circles for an extended period of time. Several witnesses called 911, and when officers arrived they found the driver passed out behind the wheel!

They were slumped and their arms in such a position that the car kept going in circles, round and round and round. Police were finally able to use a large rock in front of one of the wheels to stop the vehicle as it was not moving very fast.

Then they broke open a window to get to the driver. Their name was not released, little other information is known except that it's being treated as either a DUI or medical emergency behind the wheel. The driver was taken to the hospital, their condition is not known. The investigation continues.
