Cops Find Shell Casings After Gunshot Reports

Many people think it's like chasing ghosts, but often in these cases, police are able to track and trace down suspects.

That might be the case from an early Wednesday morning incident. Officers responded to West 7th. Ave between Vancouver and Highway 395 around 4:30am. They had received several calls from neighbors reporting hearing gunfire.

When officers arrived no persons or vehicles were seen in the area, at least out of the ordinary, but after searching the neighborhood, officers found five shell casings in the road.
