Cops Seeking Hit-And-Run Driver, Messed Up Other Car Badly

Kennewick police are seeking the driver of an SUV who slammed into another car Wednesday evening, then sped off, leaving the other vehicle pretty much totaled.

This was not your garden variety hit and run, the red car was slammed hard, as you can see in the picture. The suspect vehicle hit the red car where it was parked outside their home, but they drove away before the car owner could exit their home and find out what happened. The collision occurred in the 400 block of South Utah Street.

Police say the owner of the red car was inside, and heard a very loud crash-thump, but by the time they got outside all they saw was the suspect SUV leaving the scene.
