Missing Coulee City Man’s Car Found In Remote Area of Douglas County
The search has intensified for a missing man from Coulee City, in Grant County, whose car was just found in a remote area.
The Man Was Last Seen July 5th, on a Game Camera
John Morrison, 70, who lives in Coulee City, was seen leaving his home in his 2004 Toyota Carolla around 5:45 AM July 5th.

Then, a game camera, used to track area widlife, captured him and his car in a remote area of Douglas County near Orondo, which is about 50 miles west of Coulee City around 7 AM the same day.
An Abandoned Car Report Led to Search of The Area
The Grant County Sheriff's Office says the search of that area began when an area resident reported an empty car blocking a gravel road on private property. That led to Officials reviewing the video footage. A person matching Morrison's description was seen leaving the vehicle, possibly to get help, according to searchers.
They said it appears he may have left his car behind as it was unable to continue up the steep terrain in the area.
Officials say at this time there's no indication of foul play. They did not say if Morrison has any health issues, or why he left his home and drove to the area. Douglas County Search Teams continue to comb the area looking for Morrison.
