The search for a potentially violent and dangerous suspect who suffers from mental disorders is over, after Benton County Sheriff's captured him early Monday morning.

47-year-old Jared M. Dickinson had been sought by Sheriff's and police in Benton County on warrants and trespassing charges. Sunday afternoon he had run from Deputies attempting to arrest him. They searched an area near SR 397 and Morton Road in Finley but he eluded them.

Then early Monday, they received a tip he was seen in a shack on Piert Road and SR 397. Around 7am deputies were able to surround the area. Dickinson tried to run but tripped in thick wet grass and was captured.

Authorities had warned the public to not confront if he was spotted as he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and had threatened to kill police or sheriff's officers. He is now safely behind bars.
