
Dead Woman Pulled from Chehalis River in Lewis County
The Lewis County Sheriff's Office (Chehalis WA) is continuing to investigate the discovery of a woman's body in a river.
Woman found floating in Chehalis River
Saturday evening, Deputies were called to an area of the Chehalis River near a small unincorporated area called Galvin, about 7 miles north and west of Chehalis.
A caller told Dispatch several people were floating in the river near a launch at an area called Stevens Street, when the rafters saw the woman's body.
The Chehalis County Swift Water Rescue Team, County Fire and Deputies were able to retrieve the woman, whose body was turned over to investigators and the coroner.

The LCSO says more information will be released once information is developed from the autopsy and other investigative efforts.
