Details Released on Big Drug, Stolen Goods Bust Near Mesa

We told you earlier this week about a large 'raid' conducted by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office on a location near Mesa, where a number of items were found that had been stolen out of Adams County.

  Apparently, thieves even stole someone's central HVAC unit

The Franklin County and Adams County Departments combined in working this operation, as the property was reported stolen from around Ritzville and other areas of Adams County. Now the FCSO has released more details.

The property in question is at 1221 Klamath Road, near Mesa. During the search process, Deputies found a side-by-side ATV, a lot of tools and equipment stolen from a farm near Connell, and even a complete small HVAC unit that was taken from a home in Adams County.

Franklin County Sheriff Jim Raymond also reported there was evidence on the Mesa property of drug manufacturing as well. An adult male at the property was arrested, and several other persons are being looked for.

Deputies say additional stolen items were recovered and efforts will continue to return those items to their rightful owners.
