A sharp-eyed Kennewick Officer thwarted a potential construction burglary early Tuesday morning.

Officer Zinsli was conducting some extra patrols near the new Kennewick High School construction site around 5AM, when he saw a man sprinting from the area, full speed.

Obviously this looked suspicious, and when Officer Zinsli attempted to contact the man on S. Dayton St. he fled into Keewaydin Park. With help from other officers, Zinsli began to scour the park from one end to another. They found the suspect, identified as  22 year old James Tittle, hiding in an empty dumpster.

This is an actual photo of the suspect when he was located, before being 'fished' out. A number of construction tools, including the drill you see in photo, were found on his person, he's now facing a variety of burglary charges.
