Distracted Driver Sees World Upside Down After Crash
Tuesday afternoon at Kennewick Ave. and South Morain police responded to a two-vehicle crash, apparently caused by a distracted driver.
The person driving the blue Nissan Rogue, which is upside down, blew through the red light and slammed into the other white vehicle. It was due to "distractions" inside their SUV, police said.
Remarkably there were no serious injuries.
Police are reminding the public digital distractions aren't the only issues facing drivers. Avoid if at all possible any kind of significant distraction including pets, arguments, eating, putting on makeup, shaving, etc.
You'll stand much better chance of not ending up on your lid.
