Area police make it a habit to patrol not only neighborhoods and the front areas of businesses, but the back alleys as well.

Early Monday morning, around 12:48AM Kennewick officers were checking the backside of businesses in the 2800 block of West Kennewick Ave (near Rite Aid). They came across a 38-year-old man identified as Benjamin Clouse, who was wanted on five different counts including 4 felonies.

He was spotted hiding behind one of the businesses, and was also found to have meth on him. He's now in the Benton County jail with new drug charges to go with the priors.
