Drive By Shooting Target Won’t Talk to Cops
To make things more difficult for Grant County Deputies, the intended victim of an attempted drive-by shooting Sunday won't talk.
According to reports, around noon, a silver four door GMC pickup (appears to be a one ton with dual rear axle) pulled up to a home in the 9400 block of Maple Drive near Moses Lake. A suspect jumped out, and fired several shots at the intended victim, then sped away. The victim had been in the driveway, working on a vehicle.
Neighbors called in the report of gunfire, and seeing the vehicle, but Deputies say the intended victim (who was not hit) is "uncooperative." Anyone who may have more information on the drive by shooting is urged to call the Grant County Sheriff's Office (509)-76 2-1160.
Sheriff Tom Jones says this shooting is NOT believed to be related to some recent similar events in and around Ephrata.
