Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the Saturday afternoon crash by the Mid-Columbia Library on South Union Street.

Kennewick police responded to the accident shortly before 3pm, a driver pulling out of the library parking lot didn't stop for a northbound car on Union street.

The resulting crash left parts scattered across the road, and one of the vehicles undriveable, but no injuries. Police cited the driver of the SUV for failing to yield from a driveway.

It's rather ironic a person leaving the library parking lot didn't 'read' the stop sign.
