Driver Falls Asleep, Slides On Icy Road Onto Golf Course!

Fortunately, a chain link fence perhaps helped spare the driver.

Sunday evening, Kennewick police say a driver who apparently fell asleep behind the wheel, or was at least very drowsy was driving too fast for conditions near the golf course at Kennewick Ave and Quincy Street.

The SUV traveled off the road and plowed through the chain link fence lining the Tri City County Club on the North side. The drive was ok, but did receive a citation.
