Drug House Raided for 2nd Time in 3 Months in Ephrata, Arrests Made
Another large drug bust in Grant County, in Ephrata.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office raided a home Wednesday, information released late Thursday.
The Grant County Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET) went to a trailer located at 16860 Frey Road Northwest in Ephrata, and was able to confiscate a significant amount of drugs.
The occupant, 49-year-old Eric Carlin Craig, was arrested and is facing a new round of drug charge. The GCSO began to investigate him following his release recently from a previous drug raid just about three months ago.
Inside the trailer Deputies found:
"...41.7 grams of what appeared to be methamphetamine, 29.2 grams of what appeared to be heroin, one Fentanyl tablet, digital scales, packaging materials, used drug paraphernalia, and several used syringes."
Also arrested at the home was 47-year-old Sean C. Mutzer of Ephrata on two outstanding felony warrants for failing to register as a sex offender."
Authorities began to investigate Craig when they learned he'd resumed his drug operation. He was previously arrested May 25 on similar charges, then July 16 posted bond and was released from the Grant County Jail.
This time, hoping official are able to keep him from resuming again once he is back on the street. The investigation continues.
