Drug Sting Nabs 17-Year-Old Royal City High School Student
The Grant County Sheriff's Office and INET (Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team) announced Tuesday, March 28th, the arrest of a 17-year-old student.
Student investigated after tips and information from Royal City Police
The GCSO and INET began to investigate the suspect several months ago, after getting information from Royal City Police the teen might be selling drugs at school.

Monday, a search warrant was carried out at a home in the 8300 block of Road D.4-Southeast which is near Royal City.
INET reported, via the GCSO:
"A 17-year-old Royal City High School student was arrested as he left his home. Investigators searched the vehicle and found a small bag of suspected cocaine, a small bag of suspected MDMA aka Molly, and a scale.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of MDMA with intent to distribute."
MDNA is often referred to as Ecstasy and is a hallucinogenic drug. IT is a synthetic drug. The GCSO says the investigation continues.
