Pasco Police were busy with one woman's quest for ice cream, and driving drunk apparently.

Around 9:25PM patrons at the DQ Grill and Chill on on Burden Blvd. and workers called police to report a female driver in a white Mazda cut into the line of cars, and appeared to be intoxicated.

As officers rolled up, she was pulling back out onto Burden. She ignored sirens and orders to pull over and sped away. After doing a couple of laps around a nearby residential area, say police, she finally stopped.

But upon getting out and being combative while being arrested for suspicion of DUI, she slipped out of her cuffs. In the ensuing scuffle, she bit one of the officers on the arm.

Besides the suspected DUI, 34-year-old  Bethany Ann Bechto is now facing a felony assault charge for biting the officer, who was OK after the incident.
