Unfortunately, with all the COVID stuff going on, and the cancellation of all Minor League Baseball this year (MiLB teams with major league affiliation, including the Dust Devils--San Diego Padres) there hasn't been a lot of attention focused on the Tri-City Dust Devils this year.

That changed this week, as the Dust Devils honored one of their most beloved fan favorites, Erik The Peanut Guy! For years he entertained fans with his fun antics selling peanuts in the crowd, which led to him leading cheers, and now for some time he's the ringleader of all the on field activities and in stand fun at games.

The Dust Devils now have two full life sized bobbleheads, as Erik the Peanut Guy was unveiled over the weekend.  He will be on display at GESA Stadium along with Russel Wilson, who was added a couple of years ago. Wilson was a former two season Dust Devils players before going back to college and playing at Wisconsin then becoming a Seahawk QB.

Here's hoping everyone will get to see plenty of Erik the Peanut Guy in real life AND his giant bobblehead next season, in 2021!

A great honor for a great person!
