Chelan County Man Arrested for Child Sexual Abuse

The man is said to be cooperating with investigators.

Chelan County Man Arrested for Child Molestation, Other Counts

The arrest happened late last week, but now the Chelan County Sheriff's Office says a 40-year-old East Wenatchee man is facing multiple charges related to child abuse.

Richardo Espinoza was arrested and is facing the following charges, according to the CCSO:

• "Rape of a Child First Degree (three counts)

• Attempted Rape of a Child First Degree

• Child Molestation First Degree (two counts)"

The CCSO did not elaborate when they took place, but the girls were said to be 6 and 8 when the abuse occurred.

Officials are encouraging anyone else in the community who may have more information to come forward, but no more information will be released--at least not yet--due to respect for the victims' privacy.
