Family Movie Friday Nights Return to Richland!
Talk about events getting back to normal...it's about time! Friday nights, beginning tomorrow, the City of Richland will host outdoor movies at dusk.
The first movie featured is Disney's "Moana." The first movie night is at Columbia Point Marina Park.
After that, all the movies will be shown at John Dam Plaza, at 815 George Washington Way.
All the flicks are family movies, thus, "Outdoor Family Movies" kickoff tomorrow night. Check out the variety and make plans to attend one or all.
City Of Richland Outdoor Movies
I knew when I made the move to Richland, that I was going to love this forward-thinking city. I love that we have family movie Fridays!
I love that there are city-wide recyclable drop-offs, or "drop box" locations.
There are six drop box locations around Richland for residents to drop off recycling. These location are for approved materials only and do not accept garbage or hazardous waste. Clayton Ward Recycling services and monitors these locations. Drop-box recycling includes cardboard, newspaper, tin, aluminum, glass, plastic beverage containers and scrap paper, like phone books, pressboard boxes and junk mail.
If you're considering a move to Richland, there are several reasons to do it! Along with all the beautiful parks, there are accommodating bicycle paths, including the Richland Riverfront Trail.
And, if you're into hiking, check out Badger and Candy Mountains.
Don't forget about the wine. There are several wineries to peruse if you're into it. The website Yelp has a few suggestions.
