Feds: In Case of Nuke Attack, Don’t Forget Masks and Social Distancing?!?
This Federal website page began to gather a few more hits in the last week or so, following Russian leader Vladimir Putin's order to 'heighten' his country's nuclear 'preparedness' along with the invasion of Ukraine.
Federal Ready Campaign says don't forget social distancing in fallout shelters.
Certainly not making fun of nuclear warfare or the recent tensions over the invasion of Ukraine, but our own government has perhaps taken COVID preparations too far?
The Ready Campaign offers tips for survival and now to deal with a plethora of natural and man-made disasters, including, yes, nuclear war.
We were tipped off to this by Glenn Beck's The Blaze website. The Ready Campaign (RC) advises persons-families who are in a fallout shelter or other such facility for protection from a nuclear attack should remember the following:
"... Try to maintain a distance of at least six feet between yourself and people who are not part of your household. If possible, wear a mask if you’re sheltering with people who are not a part of your household. Children under two years old, people who have trouble breathing, and those who are unable to remove masks on their own should not wear them."
As a child of the late 60's and 70's I never had to experience what slightly older folks did when they had to practice Cold War air raid drills by hiding under their desks at school, but I remember the tension between the US and Russia with nukes.
Air Raid sirens? Is nuclear attack imminent? Don't forget your masks and social distancing!
Probably the LAST thing anyone in a bomb shelter is going to worry about is COVID social distancing and masks.
I think should anything like that ever happen, we will be shoehorning as many people as we can into those shelters, like sardines...But apparently, the Feds have not considered that?
Speaking of bizarre circumstances, now about these below?
