Play write Neil Simon originally wrote "The Odd Couple" as Oscar and Felix: two guys with completely opposite personalities who drive each other insane as they find that their friendship is put to the test when they become roommates. The play knocked them dead on Broadway, and went on to be a movie and successful TV show! In the 80s, Neil decided to give the girls a shot at delivering the laughs, and re-wrote his play for the ladies! "Unger and Madison are at it again! Florence Unger and Olive Madison, that is, in Neil Simon's hilarious contemporary comic classic: the female version of The Odd Couple. Instead of the poker party that begins the original version, Ms. Madison has invited the girls over for an evening of Trivial Pursuit. The Pidgeon sisters have been replaced by the two Constanzuela brothers. But the hilarity remains the same."
