Benton County Deputies and fire units say the investigation has begun into the cause of a large fire that not only destroyed garage, but also over half of a home next to it.

Early Sunday morning, crews responded to the home, near the intersection of West Hanks and County Line Roads, about a mile northeast of Grandview.

They say the fire began in the unattached garage, but then spread to the home. Authorities say at least 50% of the home was completely destroyed, the family has been displaced. The source of the fire has not yet been determined. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the blaze.
