Foster parents are needed throughout Washington state and Grant County is no different.

They currently have 350 kids waiting but only 80 homes available. FosteringWA is holding a Foster Care Fair for potential foster parents.

The Foster Care Fair hopes to answer questions that potential foster parent applicants have. FosteringWA will have applications and will help walk interested folks through the process.

It's a good place to get informed on all the requirements and processes that it takes to be a foster parent.

The process is free to apply and the good news is that FosteringWA doesn't discriminate between single parent or same-sex couples.

The Foster Care Fair is this Saturday, June 29, at the Red Door Cafe in Moses Lake  from 10-11 am.
