Good Samaritan Slammed By Car, Leaves Big Dent in Windshield

The man was taken to TRIOS Emergency Room with  head and shoulder injuries after the Saturday night accident.

Around 6:30pm police responded to a report of a man standing in the road who had been hit, on West 4th just East of Tacoma Street.

Turns out the 40-year-old man was trying to help his girlfriend get her car out of an icy snowy driveway when he was hit by a Hyundai SUV which didn't see him.

Police say he was taken to the hospital, his current condition is not known. The incident is being investigated, no alcohol or drugs involved, no report if any citations issues.
