The Tacoma News Tribune reported last week GOP leaders are pressing Gov. Inslee as to how long the fencing will remain around the state capitol in Olympia.

Both House and GOP leaders sent letters demanding it be taken down. According to the News Tribune, Democratic legislators and Inslee staffers said they defer to what they said were "security experts" on that topic.

However, in a piece dated February 22nd, KPQ Radio in Wenatchee released this information from Gov. Inslee regarding the fencing.

When asked about when it would be removed, the Governor indicated it would remain at least for the near future. His statement reportedly included this quote (from KPQ) which read in part:

“We hope things will come to a more peaceful and civil result as the Biden Administration has each additional day under their belt and those who are allied to an unmentionable person who used to hold office in our country fade from view.”

Not only is this devisive, says House GOP Rep Jim Walsh on his Facebook page, but it's interesting to see how Inslee regard those who support President Trump.

"...and those who are allied to an unmentionable person who used to hold office in our country fade from view.”

Apparently that's how Inslee views those who oppose his opinions and policies.
