Benton County Sheriffs and others remind drivers use your eyes and smarts when driving in the outlying areas.

Benton County officials say this semi-driver was following his GPS after yesterday's snowfall, and it led him astray--namely, onto one of many county roads that have not been plowed. In many cases, what's otherwise a two lane paved road is completely unrecognizable due to excessive snow drifts.

County road crews were just getting caught up when the 4-5 inches of snow and wind created a whole new set of issues. This driver ended up getting stuck. Even if your GPS tells you to 'go that way' and there's road closed sign, follow the sign.

They did not specify where in the county this occurred.
