Gun Waving Suspect Arrested After Standoff

Richland police say the incident was initially domestically related, but ended peacefully.

Sunday, police were called to a house at 51 Proton Lane in Richland, for a report of a male who allegedly pointed a semi-automatic pistol at another person. The man subsequently fled the residence, but was later located at 413 Winslow.

He barricaded himself inside, but finally after a short  standoff, surrendered. His identity was not released, fortunately no one was injured in the incident. The investigation continues.
