College Place police with help from Walla Walla officers are investigating a drive-by shooting Halloween night that left a number of residents shaken.

Officers say a possible suspect seen driving a white truck apparently pulled up at a home in the 200 block of SE 12th. Street, and fired at least 3 shots at a home. No one was reported injured, police didn't say if the home was hit.

However, there were several families with children very close by who were Trick or Treating.  The College Place Police Chief says based upon eyewitness reports and forensic evidence gathered so far, the incident IS believed to be gang related.

Drive by shootings are a Class B felony, can land the shooter or accomplices up to ten years in prison regardless if anyone is injured or not.  Anyone with any information is urged to call authorities at (509)-525-0510. All leads can be confidential.
