Hay-What A Fire-Remarkable Pictures From Mid Columbia

The tinder dry conditions in the Mid Columbia aren't just on the ground.  A truck loaded with hay exploded into flames near Pendleton on I-84.

The Oregon State Patrol and fire units responded to the blaze that closed the eastbound lanes for several hours. The semi-truck was hauling a double trailer when the driver noticed the load was on fire.  Officials are still trying to determine the cause, but emphasise dry conditions are prevalent everywhere.  Here are more remarkable pictures:
