A high wind advisory is in effect until 4 PM tomorrow afternoon has already done some serious damage through the Columbia Basin and The Lower Yakima Valley.

About 800 customers are currently without power in Prosser according to the Benton PUD. Adams County Sheriff's Department is also reporting power outages with no certain time for power to be restored.

You can always get updated power outages with the Benton PUD here.

We've also had some road closures due to high wind, accidents and downed power poles.

Here is what we currently have closed:

OR11 is closed between Pendleton and Milton-Freewater due to crashes and windblown debris in the roadway.

OR 204 is also closed between Weston and Elgin due to high wind hazards. High winds are creating hazardous conditions throughout the region, including blowing dust and debris, blown over trucks, down power lines, etc.

Downed power line has forced the closure of I-84 between Pendleton and La Grande. There is no estimated time to reopen the road.

According to WSDOT highway I-82 eastbound south of Kennewick is closed due to a multi-vehicle collision and low visibility. The estimated reopening is currently unknown.

That is just a few closures and power outages. It looks like it's going to a windy Sunday and Monday so be prepared in case of more road closures and power outages.
