Umatilla County animal control officials are trying to locate the owner, if any, of this poor pooch. He's got one of those faces that will probably have lots of people wanting to give him a home if he doesn't have one.

Tuesday morning, Deputies were alerted to a dog that appeared to be in distress in Vista Park, in the 1800 block of NE 10th.

Officials say the dog was painfully stuck in a fence, but they were able to free him after cutting some pieces away. The dog was treated at Oregon Trail Vet Clinic, and he's chilling there now while attempts are made to find it's owner, if there is one.

The dog was not chipped.  Please contact UCSO, 541-966-3651 or the Oregon Trail Vet Clinic, 541-567-1138 if you know who he belongs to.
