Hit-And-Run in Kennewick Leaves Woman in Critical Condition
A Sunday night hit-and-run accident has left a female victim in critical condition in an area hospital, now the search is on for suspect driver and passengers.
CAR HITS WOMAN ON CLEARWATER AROUND 9:30PM
Police received a call around 9:35 PM about a 28-year-old woman who had been hit by a car crossing the street in the 5000 block of West Clearwater.
Passers-by and witnesses said she appeared to be badly hurt. The suspect vehicle pulled to the curb after hitting the woman, but the driver and an unknown number of occupants fled the scene on foot.
Kennewick Fire Units and police worked to stabilize the woman, she was rushed to an area hospital whereas on Sunday night she was in critical condition.
Police didn't say if the woman was in a crosswalk or in the middle of the road.
POLICE STILL SEARCHING FOR THE SUSPECT DRIVER AND PASSENGERS
A K-9 track was able to locate some property believed to belong to the suspects as a wide area was searched, but they were not found.
