Kennewick Police now say they have a suspect in the July 20 shooting that occurred in the parking lot of the Econolodge Motel at Highway 395 and Vista Way.

Police responded around 8:30PM that night, but found the shooter and victim had both fled. Authorities caught up with the victim, a 38-year-old man who had driven himself to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.

Police at the time believed the victim knew the shooter, now they're looking for this guy. 33-year-old Santiago Ayala-Pineda is wanted on an outstanding Felony First Degree Assault charge.

Pasco Police have had a couple of car chases, tracking down vehicles were he was reportedly riding in, but so far he has stayed on the loose.
