You can't help but notice lately a lot of illegal pot growing operations have been broken up in Franklin County.

Now pictures have been released of the biggest one yet, from a cornfield near Mesa in the Northern part of the county. Deputies along with help from the state's Eradication Team pulled up 6,150 marijuana plants.

This aerial photo shows just how much weed was growing. Several others have also been discovered and shut down, even a small grow near the bluffs overlooking the Columbia River.

No word on specific arrests from this huge bust yet, the investigations continue. Some say many of these grows have been in place, along with others, over the years but recent increases in the use of drone surveillance by the county's new Drone unit have made it a lot easier to spot them from the air.
