Overall, living and driving in the Tri-Cities is pretty good compared to the big cities but there is one highway on-ramp I have serious issues with.

The radio stations are located right on "A" street right off the Blue Bridge in Pasco and I HATE leaving for home in the afternoon. I'll tell you why...

The reason is what I call the "Blue Bridge of Death". It's easy getting to work from Kennewick on Highway 395 but going home is a pain in the *beep!

It's such a big deal that I take the Cable Bridge home most days because I don't want to mess with this traffic debacle. I'm sure you feel the same way if you take this road daily as I do.

I HATE the on-ramp as you leave Pasco.

It's a traffic merging on-ramp onto Highway 395, right off Lewis Street but the trick is that it emerges from the left onto the highway as you head onto the Blue Bridge.

The issue is the fact that I'm sure most people don't realize when you merge from the left you don't have the right of way.

Yeah, it's a tricky place to be. You see in Washington State, you are supposed to stay in the right lane except when passing, it's the law but on Highway 395, drivers just hang out in the left lane.

You see the issue, don't you? You are merging from the left, you don't have the right-of-way and the car next to you doesn't have to get out of the way.

It's a nightmare!

It's even harder to merge as the traffic is going 60+ and the car in front of you is going 45 thinking that they've got the right-of-way. It's frustrating as heck so it's an area I just try and avoid.

Have you been on this ramp before? does it drive you nuts? Is there another area in the Tri-Cities where you hate driving? Let us know on our APP.
