Intoxicated Man in Jail For Bringing Shotgun to CBC, Pulling Fire Alarm
Pasco police continue to investigate why an Othello man allegedly brought a shotgun onto the campus of CBC on Thursday, and also pulled a fire alarm, disrupting an event.
Pasco police say 18-yes-old Jose Amezola was arrested after he pulled the alarm. He appeared to be intoxicated. Police quickly arrived and located him, and he admitted having the gun on campus.
Authorities don't know if he planned to shoot anyone or another student. He's being held on a 72-hour investigative hold, with bail at $1 million dollars.
Amezola has also been hit with a no-trespassing hold, and is no longer allowed on campus for any reason.
