Investigation Continues Into Richland Death

Not many details have been released but Richland police detectives continue to investigate the discovery of a dead person in a home Thursday afternoon.

Richland police did not say why it was requested, but while conducting a welfare check on a home in the 200 block of Crestwood, they found a dead 56-year-old adult. They didn't say man or woman. Sources say it will take some time to process the scene, but didn't offer any word on cause of death.

The home is in a trailer park borders Queensgate to the east, and Duportail to the south.  No other information has been released.
