And the Jokes Keep Coming
Naturally, jokes are plentiful. How can they not be? You know what they say...a picture is worth a thousand words. Or, in this case, SHUCKS, a picture is worth a thousand corny jokes.
The Overturned Load Caused a Complete Closure of the Exit
According to Washington State Patrol, traffic was detoured to exits 120 and 122 as crews cleaned up the corn from the roadway.
Unfortunately, the semi leaked fuel and oil in the crash. Crews eventually towed the wreckage, and repairs were made to replace the attenuator and sign base at the scene.
Sadly, the fresh corn could NOT be salvaged. All of the corn was sent to the dump.
