The Seattle Seahawks held a private ring ceremony last night for players, coaches, and staff, where the Super Bowl LX Championship Ring was officially unveiled.

Chris Pratt's reaction a few days ago makes sense now, because this is not just a ring. It is officially the largest championship ring ever made.

And it has a secret button, but we will get to that.

Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Ring Party was Next Level

Each ring was lowered from the ceiling on individual platforms, descending one at a time down to the player or staff member receiving it. Yes, they were all packaged in the same black box with red ribbon that was teased in Chris Pratt's preview video.

After the presentation, the team was seen partying and dancing on stage with their rings while a massive video of the ring design played on screens behind them.

For scale, these rings are huge. Roughly three inches across when the side panels, or "wings," are open to reveal the words "World Champions." That is bigger than an AirPods case or a golf ball.

Seahawks Say the Design Tells the Story of the Season

The ring was designed and manufactured entirely in Los Angeles by Jason of Beverly Hills, working with Seahawks leadership. It took three months of the production process with CAD engineering, stone sourcing, casting, hand setting, and multiple rounds of quality control.

The center of the ring is set with “Seahawks blue” sapphires, the hawk head logo, and two Lombardi Trophies representing the two total championships. There are fifty brilliant round white diamonds surrounding the center logo, honoring the team's 50th season.

The stadium's famous arches at Lumen Field sit on top, covered in diamonds, and the roman numerals LX sit inside those arches. I heard in an interview that it was Coach Mike's idea, but I did not hear that fact from him, so that might be a rumor.

One side features each recipient's last name, number, and the team's mantra "M.O.B." The other side reads "12 AS ONE" alongside the Seattle skyline and the Super Bowl LX logo. The bottom features 12 feathers honoring the 12s.

Open the ring, and you find an authentic piece of game football from the season with the number 50 in the center. The inside reads "17 WINS", the combined regular season and postseason win total.

The top of the ring fully detaches and converts into a pendant on a chain.

This is What the Seahawks' Super Bowl Ring Secret Button Does

Here is the feature that made Chris Pratt freak out. A small "12 Flag" on the side of the ring is actually a button. When you press it, the Lumen Field arches section on top of the ring pops outward to reveal the words "WORLD CHAMPIONS" underneath. It also increases the visual size of the ring by a noticeable amount.

The creator said it was one of the most technically advanced engineering features ever built into a championship ring because of the internal levers and springs built inside to make that feature a reality.
