K-9 Ivan Recovers Till and Money In Kennewick Robbery
Are we getting a flurry of gas station robberies where the cash till is getting stolen?
We reported on one robbery a few days ago where the till was stolen at the Chevron station in Kennewick and now we have another early morning robbery where the till was stolen.
This Is The Second Robbery Within Days Where The Till Has Been Stolen
According to the report from the Kennewick Police Department, the robbery happened early this morning 10/14 at approximately 03:43 AM.
Here Are The Details Of The Case From The Kennewick Police Department
Kennewick Police Officers responded to 3419 W. Clearwater Ave (Grand Central Coffee Station) for a robbery in progress.
The store employee advised an unidentified male suspect had assaulted the employee and stole the cash till. Officers responded and set containment.
Kennewick K-9 (Ivan) responded to conduct a K-9 track. During the K-9 track the cash till and money was recovered.
This is an ongoing investigation and there is no suspect(s) information at this time. More information will be released as it comes available.
That's two separate robberies where the tills were stolen. Kennewick Police are still investigating both incidents.
Could These Two Recent Kennewick Robberies Be Related?
I wonder if this is the same person or different people that robbed the Chevron station a few days ago? K-9 Ivan was all over the situation and managed to recover the till and the money, I suspect no one wants to deal with a K-9 officer. If you have any information on this incident, Kennewick Police is asking for help in identifying suspects in this case.
We'll keep the story updated as get we get more details.
