Authorities aren't sure where it came from, but an apparently wild turkey crashed through the front window of an eatery in Pittsburgh PA...on Thanksgiving!

The 15 plus lb wild turkey smashed through the front window of an Eat And Park restaurant around 3pm Thanksgiving day.  The restaurant was unoccupied due to the holiday.  The bird, who apparently did not survive the attack, was found among shattered glass in the dining area.  The bird flew thru the window, and was not thrown according to a police investigation.  Officers said wild turkeys reside in the woods across the street, and it is not unusual to see them flying around, and sometimes attempting to peck at pedestrians in the area.   Maybe he knew what was up with the holiday, but forgot to read the sign saying the restaurant was closed!
