Kennewick Felon Arrested for Gun Threat at Car Lot

Kennewick police responded to an unusual incident Wednesday night on Columbia Drive.

Officers arrived around 8:30pm at Smart Car Leasing and Sales at 707 Columbia Drive and arrested 37-year-old Miqueas Garcia-Gutierrez on charges he pointed a gun at  another man during an argument.

39-year-old Alejandro Vazquez-Camacho was threatened, and when police arrived they found Garcia sitting in his car with a passenger. The passenger was questioned and released, but Garcia arrested suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. A .32 caliber handgun was seen in the car and taken, along with other evidence.

Authorities didn't say if the argument was related to the business in any way.
