Kennewick Fire Department Passes 10K Calls for First Time
With all the growth over the last five years, and decade in Kennewick, it's no real surprise.
There are six crews who run out of five Fire stations in the city, and on December 19th, the Fire Department took it's 10,000th call--the first time in city history that number has been reached.
Members of the "B" Shift crew who answered it were honored with a cake. Kennewick not only responds to fires, but also handles all the EMS (medical emergency) calls for the city as well as all the EMS and transporting services for the unincorporated areas, namely Finley.
Congrats!
