Compassion Center, Tri-Cities, is a local faith-based, 501c3, nonprofit organization. We love our community and are proactively building awareness of community unmet needs, all of our community resource so that we can be empowered with knowledge of where and how to connect with them, and want to pull our community together, leveraging our resources, creating solutions to unmet needs, and inspiring compassion, human value, love, and community looking after community. Services: We offer free life assessment, guidance, and support services to anyone who could use assistance navigating and sorting through their specific needs or situations. We provide life skills, self-empowerment tools, encouragement, show value, love, human compassion, and a safe, welcome place where people can feel safe and free to talk and get help. We don't provide financial aid, but assist others in connecting with these resources, and have basic, essentials available for those in-need (clothes, hygiene, diapers) and seek community contributions of larger, household items for those who seek help, and are screened-in for approval. We believe that together, we can be the change. We match community needs with community giving. We highly promote volunteerism and using all of our strengths, gifts, resources and abilities, recognizing that when we do, this lifts up each of our lives as we reach out to help others, and become a part of community solutions. We encourage our whole community to get involved; businesses, government, nonprofits, families, couples, neighborhoods, and groups. We value building strong partnerships to build bridges and fill gaps of needs. We all make a wave of difference, when we recognize our worth, our value, and our roles in community change.
